last blog on here.....tomorrow will be thetimebeing.com

well we had some fun
we had some laffs
we had some ninnies
we had some controversy
we had the big split a few years back
when the carnivores left en masse
we had lovely generous fiendss
we had envious tiny pigs
we had millions of words
we had over one million reads...well over
still got almost a thousand readers a day
this will be the last on here however
tomorrow ...aw you know where to go
much better
i'll be able to post high quality longer videos
better photos
better blogs
better living thru timebeing
so thats it
a little tear of farewell
a backwards glance
dont look back in anger
just look forwards in anticipation
thetimebeing.com
thats it
aloha blogger
see you for a new blog tomorrow elsewhere
thanks for all the support

Yassou sk, (that means hello, but also means goodbye), it's been a blast "chatting" with u everyday here over the past 5 years (do you believe it's been 5 years!!?) I'll really miss this page, but "all good things must come to an end" as the saying goes(but I wish that wasn't true). Thanks for all your thoughts, poetry, stories, rants, arguments, photos, videos and songs you've posted here everyday for us, I loved it all. And it's so nice to see you smile on the last pic ever on this page.
See ya
Love Princey

congrats killa :)

been with you on here from day one
it's been a cool ride
some great writing
some riveting ups and downs
for the past several years it's been the first thing i read in the morning
just to set the day on right
even printed a few of my faves over the years

turning a new page from tomorrow
i had a couple glimpses of what the future holds
and its fucking cool
some really good stuff in there
can't wait to see what you do with this new, more powerful platform

i raise a glass and bid a fond farewell to this simple black page, so steeped in meaning and memory

long live the time being, and long life to the timebeing.com

Thanks for the consistant out put of genius Steve. Though not speaking as much still here observing and in awe of the ability you have to just continuously create on many many fronts. The dynamics of what you do and the subtlety within that whether it be a flash in the pan or something poured over a little more.....i just love it, and have loved what you do for well over half my life...other music etc has come and gone but you and what you create alone or with others has travelled with me to this day and will, I believe, into eternity wherever that may be. And that is the beauty of what you do, it is eternal, not some 5 min commentary on something forgotten the next day. For me you inspire and give hope for the dreams we all have which is what the true atrist gives the world and the cosmos. Artists are far more valuable than any banker politician scientist or those who steal the world's attention. Artists give hope to us, allow us to dream and create things never before imagined. You are one of the finest in the modern age Steve and I'm looking forward to the continuation of this on your new medium.

FLourish and Prosper.

ML,
don joe

Seems like yesterday I was peering quizzically over your shoulder in the blue mountains while you laptopped one of your first blogs ever. And i remember Feb 14 200X when I spat the dummy with you and took time out for a while thinking fancy breaking up with you and the band on Valentines Day. wow, seems eons ago now. Onto newer, better fresher pastures - see you there xo

Kinda sad this is farewell to the current blogge, but nothing lasts forever.

Hope your new blogge enjoys even bigger success, all this technology is mind blowing. Afraid I can now relate to my dear olde dad when he couldn't understand things. I've joined that club.

Wising you all the best.

Just been catching up on the last couple of blog having spent the weekend watching sport and getting inebriated with a friend, neither of which is ‘normal’ for me, but did me the world of good!
We talked, we shouted, we laughed. We were both angry about things in our lives we cannot control, but sharing our thoughts really helped me, so it was kinda weird to return to ttb and read Friday’s blog. I agree with fantasicandy though, anger is energy and needs to be channelled. It’s no good trying to control it and keep it locked away cos it just gets stronger and then when it does come out it attacks everything and everyone, even the people you’re not angry with.
So, enough of anger! A new chapter beings on 26th July 2010 and it’s been such a long time since we heard your wonderful music and unique voice, so I personally am looking forward reading seeing and listening to you at thetimebeing.com. I can’t remember the last time l looked forward to Monday morning as much as I do right now.

Now that it's really happening I feel a little sentimental about this blog.
At the same time I'm very excited about the new Time Being. I have a feeling it's going to be something quite special.

What great pics! Such a nice looking group. In the top pic Miss Scarlet looks as if she's not really a morning person, but further on down she looks pretty chipper. Nice to see a hint of a smile from you too. (I always smile when I see that shirt :-) )

I have to admit a tinge of sadness at SK art being folded into ttb.com. No doubt that ttb.com is a far better site for it -- the work is displayed better, it will be a much easier browsing experience for everyone, and I like that it's right there with your other work -- and yet for me it's a little sad. SK art was kinda my baby, and this is a bit like seeing it grow up and away. I mean pretty soon it will think I'm an embarrassment to be seen with and won't even call me any more. Websites these days...you bring them into this world, you lovingly raise them, and off they go to a better platform without so much as a glace backwards. *sob*

...or all that could just be the "I am so fucking tired of looking at five plus years worth of images and descriptions" talking....

;-)

"There's a sad sort of clanging
From the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too,
And up in the nurs'ry an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say "coocoo"

Regretfully they tell us,
But firmly they compel us
To say goodby to you.

So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehen, good night..." to this fine blog.

I'm a relative newbie to the time being, in fact I was a blog virgin until I discovered it - now you've got me well and truly hooked!!!
Its always had a certain cosiness about it, like sitting in front of a fire on a cold winters' night and reading the adventures of SK and his beautiful daughters.
Thanks for sharing the bad times with the good times and here's to even better ones on thetimebeing.com

Speaking of an archive, you should really publish (in a book) a good bit of this. Even include some of the more insightful/controversial comments. Maybe an editor with some time could go through the 5 years for you?
Anyway, thanks for the blogs. I read 99.9% of them!

WARNING !!!!

i was just looking around on the web and I checked for info about ur new sight...when i typed in WWW.TIMEBEING.COM , it took me to a very unrelated sight. For all ur readers : its gonna have to be typed in as :WWW.THETIMEBEING.COM so there is no mistake. I hope the other sight and yours do not conflict with each other, seeing that their addresses are so similar.

AGAIN-

Good Luck with the launch and I'll see you tomorrow on THETIMEBEING.COM
