1. i wake up 2 weeks ago with the name sid rumpo in my head
sid rumpo were an aussie band that made one record i never heard
back in the early seventies ...but i dont know anything about them
nor have i ever thought of them before. that day i fly down to melbourne
to do rockwiz finale and whilst on the plane i read about goethe
and his theory of interconnectedness
then i meet famed oz rocker angry anderson from rose tattoo
and we share a limo into town
on the way there i ask about his previous band buster brown
i say : you guys musta been one of the 1st bands on mushroom records
yeah says angry us n a band called sid rumpo
wow i say i thought of that name this morning when i woke up
wow says angry thats an example of interconnectedness
(a double synchronicity there folks)
2. i go to wendy the white witch for a healing
she gives me a cd of the lords prayer related to chakra healing
when i get in the car all relaxed
i put on the radio n on comes the first song
dirty deeds done dirt cheap by ac/dc (a jarring juxtaposition )
i immediately turn it off
when i get home n stick cd into my itunes
my itunes erroneously recognises the cd as dirty deeds done dirt cheap
(huh!!!!)
3 jeffrey cain turns up today
hes rented a flat in bondi
its the same flats marty lived in 30 years ago when he first moved to aust
weird, eh?

that is very odd indeed. we are all inter-related in some form. i believe our thoughts and actions mirror others who may dwell in our particular realm. u would not interconnect with, lets say, a football player. but as a being of high creativity, ur energy connects with others similar to ur self.

got a minor one of my own: three recent posts on your blog this past week titled/categorized "sacred songs"
less than two weeks ago i began thinking about a song i hadn't heard in over 20 years - it stuck in my head. finding it here in the internet world helped.
know what the name of the album this song came from? yep! "Sacred Songs"

Last night I dreamt that each day I received in the mail a box of varying size wrapped in brown paper with coloured symbols and lines drawn sparely on them.
They were from the time being and this lead me to wonder how many boxes he sent each day and how this could be possible.
I loaded them into a panel van and took them to a warehouse where they manufactured guitars and Russian dolls.
My ipod experience today was very nice; as I just got my new Prius with all the bells and whistles. I had taken the advice of a previous TimeBeing blogger to make an old iPod into soley Church music; and that's the first thing I heard driving out of the Toyota dealership. Man, does Shadow Cabinet sound sweet cranked!

When we follow our creative path which is our true path synchronicity is the mystery that surrounds us. The other observation here is the incongruous nature of things. You and Angry Anderson are such poles apart yet in that dichotomy something sparked. We all need to pay more attention to the guiding force of interconnectedness.

Two synchronous events today: 1. As I was coming
down the mountain I asked myself, if I have ever believed in God in my life. The answer was possibly, short-lived in my youth; you know that feeling
you have in your heart when you are new to the world. So I concluded, I probably don't believe in
God, because he hasn't showed me any signs. Not a
minute later, I passed an old church, which had a
sign out front (staring me in the eyes) that said the
lord is my shepherd, ect....he is the confidence of my youth. It was kinda weird such a response.
When I returned home, one of the first posts I saw today was by a girl who stated "the christ-like light
is gone." Well my confidence is shattered, so I'm left
wondering what this all means. 2. I quoted "dirty
deeds" today in response to some political bullshit.
Just thought I would share.

I visited a pawn store recently and was mildly excited to find a Yamaha MT4X 4 track recorder for sale at cheap price. I wasn't sure whether to buy it because it is a pretty dated recording technology.
I used to have old Teac 4 track and always remembered the sound it made when depressing the pause button while in record, producing a "schtummm" on the recording. I was thinking about this while listening to an ambient album by David Tagg for the first time on my ipod. A split second after recalling the sound it made, I heard the "schtummm" at the start of the next track on my ipod! I interpereted this as a positive sign. I bought the thing soon after and have rediscovered the joys of 4 track.
I told my partner about this strange occurrence. She reminded me that time is not linear and that I possibly knew that sound was coming and I was going to buy it.
hey killer, great blog but please don't go all Stingy on us and write "serious" jazzy intellectual songs about your experiences...wasn't there a Police album called ...? How about the long-awaited Angry and Killer collaboration, you coud do a new version of the Butcher and Fast Eddy!
A few months ago upon hearing the Lincoln commercial w/Milky Way, I developed a haunted obsession with song. I am not talking about a small obsession. It was in my ever waking thought - day and night - night and day for about a month. I remembered the song from my younger dayze . . . So finally off to the internet to research it. It was REALLY eerie, to be honest. Off to internet and youtube ... and now here I am.

You know I was seeing bands a lot in those days including rather obscure ones like Tamam Shud, Mackenzie Theory , Company Caine ( Co.Caine - geddit? ) Dr Kandy's 3rd Eye, to name a few .
And yet , tho I do recall the name " Sid Rumpo " I'm drawing a blank on anything else on them. (?)
There is a really good site on Australian underground bands of that era named " milesago " that may have some info....

Had been decades since even thought about that song -- listened to it through... made me smile.

If you have the Tamam Shud albums on vinyl ( not CD re-releases) you are sitting on a fortune. Not that I'm recommending selling them ; they are a real time capsule to when Austn. surf culture discovered pot and acid ( via California .)
Tamam Shud means something in Tibetan , I think.
For the benefit of o/s tb-ers out there and those to young to remember ie most of you, Tamam Shud were a 60's psych. band made up of surfers from Sydney's northern beaches.

Last night I watched a documentary about clouds from an aesthetic, imaginative and artistic point of view. There was a guy who looked at and read clouds the way others would read the tea leaves. This morning I was cycling along the road and noticed an amazing nimbus cloud with a dogs face like on P=A. Then I cycled by Church Street.
I was actually listening to the Dead Man's Hand EP at the time (thanks Frank!). It just all joined up. Here's the view from Google Maps.
