trimmings

baby on a hot day
sip something sweet
cool as cold pudding
like lakes at your feet
and
baby on a hot day
touch something smooth
cool as cold pudding
to get in your groove

yeah you got all the trimmings

remember how you used to stand so proud
under the awnings laughing out loud
remember how you used to partly submerge
into the crowd if you got the urge
and remember how you used to turn up trumps
and turn down tramps who used your pumps
and remember how you used to turn to stone
everytime you rocked in the mineral zone
and remember how you rode a cart
until they tore that thing apart
and remember how you named that hill
but the valley remains unnamed still
and remember how you wandered off
and then came back but just to scoff
honey whats that on your lip...froth....?

yeah you got all the trimmings

In order to make more money, you should also release a compilation of your previously released solo works, including songs such as Surrealist Woman Blues, Mechanism, Sleep With Me, Fall In Love, Blessed One, Keeper, Selfish Portrait, Outbound, Celestial, etc.

I see first
and then hear a song
The beautiful imagery
pulling it along

Here it is icy
and the wind is fierce
Sunny and blinding
our eyes with a pierce

Hoping your day is good to you my friend..............

Pleasant little ditty SK, problem being I don’t remember any of this. Then again having only been introduced to the most awesome band in the world 5 months ago, is it any wonder I don’t remember the fun times when the trimmings (as in ttb, SK, chrunch) were missing!

Just read through additional comments on last blog and noticed KevinN’s comment. You slept during a band meeting? Surely you must have been doing some constructive and creative thinking with your eyes shut? Haha. If the Europe part of the tour comes off and UK is blessed I’ll be there wherever there is. As for Vienna, city of music, and my second home, so if that’s on the list then, unless you go straight from one straight to the other, I’ll catch you there too as it’s only a few hours flight away and I can catch up with the family. I along with no doubt countless others, especially Brits, am on edge wait for the release of dates and venues so if it’s the big places that draw the crowds for ya SK, go for it; I'm sure there’s a few of us here who find a way to get there.

And remember when your voice was new and the just mown lawn was glistening with dew...

And remember when your skin was white and music echoed all around like waves of light...

And remember when the talking made my blood rise and the only way to dream was with lies...

Was reading a little about Lewis Carroll last night and I had forgotten about him being a mathematician and it reminded me of your blog about Fibonacci, numbers and creativity.

Al Gore poem

One thin September soon
A floating continent disappears
In midnight sun
Vapors rise as
Fever settles on an acid sea
Neptune's bones dissolve
Snow glides from the mountain
Ice fathers floods for a season
A hard rain comes quickly
Then dirt is parched
Kindling is placed in the forest
For the lightning's celebration
Unknown creatures
Take their leave, unmourned
Horsemen ready their stirrups
Passion seeks heroes and friends
The bell of the city
On the hill is rung
The shepherd cries
The hour of choosing has arrived
Here are your tools

You both must be using the same type of drugs
