following the description of us tour and the bootelegges/pictures (great photographer!) gave me at least a weak idea of what was actually happening. while space saviour was my least fav track off you two three, i understood it begs to be played live and it became a favourite. whenever i am listening, i am imagining the church on a stage, rocking and clashing and burning and smoking. from those videos i get the faintest idea of what it must have been. drove from bohemia to moravia today, with my two hour double cd "bastard universe - a church companion 1981 - 2003". almost wrecked the car when trance ending and happy hunting ground came on. wife asked "how is something like thing being made=? how to think of something that great!??" - i still havent got any answers. welcome to europe. iff yoo ent ze bent vil sumday play ova hear eggayn, i voott be glatt. els i vil come to offstraylya.

OUCH! U.S. Airways...hmmm. All I can say is "SHITTY!!" So sorry to hear you had to endure that crap airline. I had no idea they even made it all the way to Sweden!

Be careful with quorn, Steve. I've been vegetarian for 15 years, vegan for the last 2. Quorn is a food of skeptical origin. It's essentially a fungus that is created chemically. Many leading vegan nutritionists are leary of it. If you've been eating it for a while and haven't had any negative health reactions to it, maybe it's cool. I'd encourage others, however, to proceed with caution. Viva la vegan! And long live the Church!

Hey SK, have appreciated your blog so much over the past few weeks, thank you. I've taken to listening to Untitled 23 whilst watching my 2 little boys play footy on saturday mornings. Somehow it is the perfect soundtrack for this activity. I listen to this CD a lot and think it is truly one of the best the band has ever made. I especially love your vocals in Happenstance where your crooning reminds me of Sinatra and whenever I'm listening to it I have images of the video that might have been made for the song. Enjoy your time with your girls. Be kind to yourself. You put so much love out there and make a real contribution to peoples daily lives, certainly mine for one. Much love.

Thanks for touring the USA. It meant time away from your family and obviously they are very important to you. I have a beautiful wife, a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son and they mean everything to me. If everything was taken away from me except my family I know I would be okay.
I saw you guys last week at the Egg in Albany. (I work in Albany and live in the country about an hour away). I want to say it was the first time seeing the Church live and it was the best show I've seen in many, many years. You guys gave it your all. You were nice enough to sign an autograph on my ticket stub in the lobby of the Egg. I wanted to ask you some questions about your music but you went for a walk around the Empire State Plaza and I figured with all that driving you have to do don't bug the man! You and your bandmates are very talented. Please keep making brilliant music. I'm not the only one lamenting that there is little of it made today. Thanks again and please come back to Albany.

U.S. Scareways, it's called in these parts. All the U.S carriers are trying to pinch pennies and save their way to success. Times have changed. The closest I've been to Sweden is the Ikea store at Atlantic Station, though I'd enjoy a visit. My best friend's wife is from Sweden, a chemist at UGA.
Still grooving to #23 daily on my drive into and escape from, work. Tell PK that LLC is a fine tune as well; harkens back to Heyday daze. Got Oxydental on repeat too, god I love that song = A plague of Maharishis in a post-ecstatic haze......
Twenty-something days of accumulated sleep deprivation is enough to exhaust even the strongest Space-Rocker.
When is sunset in Scandinavia......1:00 a.m.? Hope Elli recovers soon.

Your flight sounds horrid. Glad you got there though. Getting there safely is the most important thing even if it was awful.
