Good to hear you're happy with your vocal delivery. Hopefully something will surface on youtube. I saw the Triffids once in the 80s but at a time I was more into Virgin Prunes and The Fall.. in other words, I did not get them at that time. And in case you ever return to the smirking detached SK.. no one did that better than you ;)

He's right fiendsss, our humble hero transformed into a wild panther on stage last night!!! (not a mangy one tho). Sk, I couldnt believe it was you singing up there last night, you were fantastic, so much energy and feeling put into those 4songs, if I closed my eyes I don't htink I would have recognised it was my fav singer up there!!! The band was great and Ricky on drums was a bonus too, hes a natural! I realised last night David McComb wrote alot about LUV, about the heartbreak, the sadness, the longing and a bit of happiness too, he had a way with words,thats for sure.

played the new shriek cd last night for the first time. i posted a review in 'wombat' but i'll just state here for the record... 'wow.'
certainly unlike anything that precedes it, it's exceptional in it's uniqueness. it was love at first play. congratulations to all involved. amazing music and your vocals just seem to get better and better all the time.
i wish i could have seen the triffid show, i am really unfamiliar with their music but i'm sure they are a great band.
