And I'll be missing you, definitely more than you know.

is it because 0307 comes right before 0408?

which reminds me, in that Q & A thing you did many many posts ago I asked why 0408 is called '0408' and I don't think you answered

princey said...

Oh that's not fair!
Take care and enjoy your well deserved break from us lot! Miss you already :(

While Mr Kilbey is keeping a low profile, I'll blow his trumpet (metaphorically speaking).

The lovely Amy at Shock Records has emailed Matt D and myself a rave review from this week's Beat Magazine in Melbourne, for - you guessed it - the new Steve Kilbey Live DVD.

It's loaded up on the Plus1 website - www.plus1presents.co.nz.

If you want to find out more about the DVD and to buy direct, go to merch.thechurchband.com or stevekilbeyDVD.com

hmm... did you hurt yourself punching the monitor? These flat screens can't take the abuse that the clunkier older monitors can...

i suspect more rsi probs cause you haven't been doing your exercises - or only been doing them when it bothers ya... Don't make me come down there!

(you know what to do, and if you need something different or need to be berated and hounded - we call that cracking the whip - drop me a line...)

hope yer feeling better soon. enjoy some down time! you've written such great material over the past week or so. this will be a good chance to give it another read.

LOL~~leave it to goofy me to read this the wrong way....i interpreted this as your COMPUTER was the one having problems.

Three greatest guitarists in rock are Jeff Beck, Steve Howe and Steve Vai.

Most overlooked musical talent is Richard X Heyman.

Heyday was indeed the CHurch's first perfect CD. Flawless !

what will we do ?

eek said...

Although we can certainly send good thoughts SK's way it is actually the computer that is injured this time, not him. (yeah, I thought the injury was to SK also) :-)

And to those who are wondering -- yep all the paintings have now safely arrived (well the lost FedEx paintings are forever well and truly lost). Australia Post Express and insured got them here very nicely. And they are wonderful -- if you get a chance to see the exhibit in person it's going to be quite a treat. But if you can't see them in person make sure to check out the SK Art site in early June because the paintings in the exhibit will be up there then also.

sk, hope the computer is ok. been there! eek, hope to see you at the exhibit. yellow springs is not that far from here and i heard it is pretty cool.

happy weekend, all!

I bet it's just an excuse - I bet he's gone to the vines and is visiting The Magician :))))

Dutch Pierre you disappoint me. At a time like this, I'd have thought you'd have at least taken the five minute drive from Bronte to North Bondi and leant the Killer your laptop. You've let the troops down, and the likes of Dave M, Andy L, Veleska, Eeek and myself will be getting panic attacks :)

Richard 0408 was the number on the tape used to record the track that had no name.

Q@A with matt if you want FOR THE NEXT WHILE??

davem said...

Ok Matt. Deal.
Tell me, is everything unplanned?

Hellbound Heart said...

well, matt, is it going to be q and a with you ol' pal ol' buddy....ok, here we go...
* what is your earliest memory?
* do you like dark, milk or white chocolate?
* is carob real chocolate or is it crap like i think it is?
* do you fart under the covers and then fluff them around so everyone can smell it?
* why am i always the only one to refill the sugar jar as it always seems to be empty when i go to use it?
* what's the best thing that you like doing with your family?
* what's the best thing to do during the times when your spouse and child choose to have selective deafness?
these and more questions during the next 24 hours...
peace and love...

Stay well Steve and keep off the pc until the rsi settles down.

Maybe us fiendds should band together and invest in voice recognition software for you. Imagine....no more key strokes except to edit. What bliss for you.

Richard said...

Shit ... is that all?

thanks matt

matt davison said...

davem yes to both questions.

Hellbound))....my earliest memory is a vagina-

carob is not chocolate!!

and the rest are questions best left until later.

Richard SK told me that, and I said the same thing...but what a great song So good that they couldn't even find a name for it ........but then it might have been an even more suitible name for the song, than realised leaving even more to the imagination..everyone else

Do you have SK live yet???

Not a bad little show.

MD

Mmmm, downtime, time for general thoughts and observations:

-Anyone here listened to Earthed on a true 5.1 system lately? The soundfield is amazing...the mix fractures into delicious nuggets. The CD has moved from a curiosity to a staple in my abode.

-I wore my Starfish tour t-shirt yesterday as I was out and about. The neck is a bit frakked up, and a few holes are under MWP's likeness, but it felt good. I saw a rainbow too.

-Playing bass hurts my fingers. The strings are too damned big, I'm a Super Slinky kind of guy. I appreciate your fretwork more everyday, Meester K.
