Way To Go SK!. We Must Stick To Our Beliefs! many may not agree.. but Some Will.....Some Will....And if That turns out to be the case.. Then youve acomplished what you set out to do!..There are MANY of us that are inspired by you and do indeed look to you for other ways to view life...Hell, sometimes, I dont even agree with everything you say.. But thats ok.. We can all have opinions.. But man.. There seems to be alot of downright agression on here.. geesh!.. hats off to ya!... Keep The path!

Awww, SK, don't go cursing the fig tree because it ain't bearing the fruit out of season. When a person takes a stand, and throws down the gauntlets, there's going to be a mixed reaction from the meekest to the mostest.
Take it as a compliment to realize that the Followers are a diverse lot...we come from different places, with different backgrounds and beliefs, different knowledges and techniques...it's not a matter of black or white, left or right, or even right or wrong...we're all different, SK, and it's the MUSIC that brought us here together. As always, I read and respect your opinions and others'; yet I also have the wisdom to understand that no ONE path is the correct path, and to "seek knowledge" is to reduce the very concept to two simple words--SEEK KNOWLEDGE. That involves listening to others and realizing that we'll never actually know the whole truth about anything.
The important thing is to keep the blogs (and responses) coming from the heart, and to not choke the flow of information, one way or another.
As Followers, we understand one another on a certain level that that the masses don't have a clue about...but that doesn't mean that we (the Followers) are all the same and think totally alike. We're going to have differences of opinion. I think that "Maybe These Boys" is a damned fine tune, and I've never seen a fellow Follower say that. But I just did, and really, why argue over the wrong or right of the statement? It's a complex issue, as are most, and it's the diversity of opinions that should ultimately bring us together and not apart.

Well well well, the teacher leaves the classroom & all hullabaloo breaks loose!! (bin sailing…….). Like 12str, I’ve stopped eating meat since reading this blog & my digestion & energy has never been better!! Between yoga, sailing,& a blessed life & the addiction of reading TTB I don’t seem to need drugs, apart from cups of tea & occasional drink. My view is each to their own & that the world desperately needs its artists as they provide a spiritual & emotional compass for the everymen& women, & what SK or any adult chooses to do with his body as long as it is isn’t harming anyone else is his choosing & we gain the benefits of his insight.
Are there any community radio stations in Sydney on which you could have a regular gig & provide the same red rags to many more bulls ( Melb has 3rrr which would be a great outlet for your voice/views)? Sure could be great listening as well as a great way to promote yourself as an artist!
I wonder if turning off the anons may mean we lose the vast array of devils advocates which can add many colours to the blog/commentary, however, giving them a holiday occasionally is also healthy when they periodically go sour.

last week i was working quite a bit and didn't have time to read or comment, so i spent a little time yesterday morning getting caught up and i witnessed what was going on. like eek, for these past two years i've commented several times on the topics so my thoughts on them are already known.

i sure hope so. there are a lot of recent events in my life where i hope and pray this applies. i flip flop back and forth to believing this statement to not. i'm intrigued by your suggestion to "try another life". sometimes i wish i could!!!

Sk should have no guilt about his vegan/vegetarianism advocacy. He has reverence for the sacredness of all life. He concurs with Gandhi, Tolstoy, Da Vinci and Albert Schweitzer. Even God (Genesis 1:29). Imploring people not to torture and kill animals, birds, fish and other sentient creatures is virtuous. The only aspect of my life that I'm proud of was when at age 18 I extended "Thou Shall Not Kill" to the animal kingdom. Thank you Cesar Chavez, Ellen G. White, Martin De Porres and William Booth.
Whew!!! Things was getting very headache inducing in here for the last little while. Maybe now there will be less Punch and Judy n more 13th Floor Elevator...
