sleep

oh sleep dont leave me again
oh sleep i cant make it without you
oh sleep i appreciate you now
oh sleep you are everything

down to the smallest detail
within the minute glades of the tiniest worlds
at the core of everything
traversing blackspace radiosonic hypertronic
the call of sleep
sleep you handsome man
sleep you beautiful lady
sleep you children
creamy dreamy sleep
sleep so luxurious as you take me down
sleep a divine condition
swallows my sorrows
window to my pane
sleep you whitedevil sleep
drown in rumbling slumber waves of sleep
tossed and turned on sleeps restless motion
breathe deep and sleep
sleepy music
warm blue sleep
sleep of the just
sleep of the just after
sleep off the drink
sleep well my dear
sleep is a person to me
sleep appears dressed in a yawnsuit
sleep is a boy with blond hair
sleep asleep himself in my old room
sleep keeps to himself
sleeps dormitory in hushed tones
sleep babylon and nineveh
sleep little egypt
people in lemuria getting sleepy
the mayans persisting through the jungle
crystal skulls are asleep
the dormant night
the creeping shadow of evening
the wedding bed
the softest sheets
youre becoming drowsier
youre feeling heavier
the thoughts all fall to the back of your head
sleep baby bunny sleep tiny star
sleep scarlet girl with your ringlets of gold
sleep like a stone
sleep like state
sleep in and under
sleep
during and because of
sleep
better than ever
sleep
to have and to hold in sleep
catching up on some
a sleep in a stream
a sleep at the wheelbarrow
a sleep and alert
sleep together:dream alone
your becoming sleep
youre becoming wrapped in sleep
drowsier and drowsier
and you are so becoming
sleep-happy sleep-drunk
sleep-addicted
sleep-cure
sleep-time
sleep-substitute
sleep-heart
sleep-industry
no sleep
no life
getting hard to fight sleep
sleep get behind me
sweet sleep oh sweet sleep
sleep lay down here
and
stay awhile

Ah sleep is indeed wonderful. Sometimes I think it's the only thing I can do well right now.

But at least I'm good at something, right? ;-)

slippery dreams

...being here, doing this... said...

in the usual synchronistic fashion
that seems to occur
when the time being and yahoo music
broadcast simultaneously
to this library sitting

the following lyrics were sung
during
the reading of
today's blog...

"They will tell you, you can't sleep alone in a strange place
Then they'll tell you, you can't sleep with somebody else
Ah, but sooner or later you sleep in your own space
Either way it's okay, you wake up with yourself"

yeah, right on Kilbey. Sleep is far too underrated in our society, ah to be back in simpler days, when the sun and moon dictated our sleeping patterns instead of greedy bosses, flickering McDonalds signs, and doof doof muzak from some sweaty nightclub....

...sleep, ah, at times when you have small children and/or are busy with work and stuff the magic 's' word aint sex...a good snooze in the hay can be at times quite preferable to a good roll in it...not that i'm complaining if i DID get a roll in the hay, mind you...
look, i'll shut up now...
love always...

"Sleep with me. Why don't you sleep with me?" That is the question or was it the song?

and all the big things seem small when we have had enough sleep. No go for me tonight, couple of strong coffees today, couple of burb and coke tonight, 2.30am wake up, restless for a couple hours, then back to sleep and wake up 7am tired. "you do it to yourself, you do, and thats what really hurts, you do it to yourself, its true, you and no one else". Linda x

you forgot the ultimate sleep combo, "sleepy sleep", my hollywood roommate Stephen Palonis used to say it over and over and softer and softer until I fell into that coma sleep after a hard hollywood weekend of snorting too much coca-cola...

dream well.
dmt in the pineal gland is responsible for dreams according to theory.
the only other known chemical the pineal gland secretes is melatonin
enjoy.

Sleep = universe designed by us.

The only place where we exist as ourselves, outside of feverish comparison to others.

Both Kafka and Baudelaire compared nights to redeeming "holidays" and "personal celebration".

With sleep, even the grayest victorian suit and tie HAS to hallucinate at times ! That is a delightful thought.

‘Yoga Nidra’ can work wonders for insomniacs (it puts many in my Thursday arvo Health class to sleep, if my teaching hasn’t already!)
Seeing Angels in the form of one’s sleeping children is an even better inducer..

do you think you could record that in kind of a soft, droning voice that trails off at the end? maybe if i played it, it would encourage sleep to visit me..:(

i've been sleeping too much these last few days due to a bad cold. but then, i've also been lacking in sleep due to doing too much. so i guess it evens out somehow.
