awww....come on!! you won't be a bachelor for too long. the wife will be home before ya know it. :) and i'm sure all the kisses from the doodles and bumper will more than make up for what's amiss now.

is that the pool you swim in?? is it heated? or are you one of those "polar bear" folks~~swimming in the dead of winter, roughing it in cold water?? brrrr.....

love the hat, and the reflection of your arm in those groovy shades. ;) bondi appears beautiful~~the pretty white sand makes me think of florida. and what sapphire-blue waters.

so.....THIS is the kitchen where the Time Being generates his daily diary, huh? now us fiendss get to view the Time Being in his element. i'm glad you have decided to take up photography.

this is such a treat, steve. you just don't know!!! thanks so much for sharing all this. what a wonderful way to end my day, as it's late sunday evening and i'm off to bed....

Wot's with these puncey new fangled pools in Bondi ?!

that's not like back in my day when we had real men's tidal pools.

ahhh yes - you'd slice ya feet on the shell shrapnel and crack a few ribs when ya'd get smashed into the walls by the breakers comin' over the top and freeze ya nuts off with the Antartica currents (in summer mind ya) and if you were lucky ya could stay warm by gettin' stung a few times by the odd blue bottle while doin' ya laps.

kids these days - they dunno wots good for 'em.

love the sea pool..the back beach at Sorrento in Melby had a sea pool (maybe still there...dunno!)but it it was just rocks etc on the bottom and sides. i like your version better...very swish. I was in Bondi last November (Melb Cup weekend)and the day I was there it poured with rain and howled a gale so hard...didn't look like these shots.

thanks for taking the time to show us around...very benevolent of ya. Hope life is treating you well now that ya home and that your Shadow is being well behaved as well.

ps...i know yer just back...but will Melby see you soon ???

What brand absinth is that? Is it the locally available 'green fairy' that contains between 7 and 9 milligrams of Thujone??
from the Czech company the green tree??
or is it something you 'imported'

SK,
Hmm... is leaving the cabinets open a guy thing? I feel I'm constantly closing cabinets and such in our little kitchen. Nice beach pics and self-portraits, Mr. Kilbespondant, sir.

I read that a few days ago you caught a bit of The Illusionist. I'd say you should finish that one (as others advised), because it was a pretty decent film, however I preferred it's competion "The Prestige" (w/ Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson & Michael Caine.) I thought it had more suspense and surprise to offer.

I think "The Illusionist" is a better rental than in-theatre experience, because the plot is so confusing the first time around.

Glad you're home safe.

was that "high" anthems?
ah yes

Goddamn it, Isolde !
I very nearly put those words up on the comments section myself this morning then decided against it.

Been humming that all morning - of course set off by SK's caption.

That is one of the most gorgeously simplistic choruses of all time - one of G's strong points. Great outro too - with tambourine - plus a nice little slid guitar thing throughout whole song.

"Faithful's not a bad word"...what a beautiful motto.

I am absent of Absinthe, but I see you're not, however my baggie was replinished this weekend. Thanks for photos.

Dear Prof. Dr. spc. rock. Kilbey,

so that's what the pool look like. It's awesome. So spacious. That makes me a tiny little bit envious, because the pools in Germany are usually so crowded that it's more like dodging people and bumping into people than real swimming (which becomes incredibly more fun when you're short-sighted).

Great shots :-)
