Love your blog title today. ;-)

So *tell us* stories of these shoes, now recurring characters in the blog. We are beginning to Look for these shoes of yours, Mr. K. If suddenly these shoes disappeared, we would know something seriously wrong had gone down!

I could tell you now about my favorite pair of Rocket Dog ballerina flats, but no one cares about ~that~. THEY HAVE NOT SEEN THE WORLD.

Nice photo in the garden, btw.

Thanks SK!!!
Good point on the shoes.

Nice to see you're a flannie fan. (sigh) after the paisleys, the checks... :S

Blunies and shorts.

May God bless you for taking that uniquely Australian look worldwide.

Bricklayer chic indeed.

Love the pics. You don't have to play the shy rock god with us ...take those sunnies off. I notice you are not afraid to show us your amazing calves. Do ya sleep with those boots on? Play on... work the muse. I think you are at your best when you are living the minstrel life. Yeah it must be hard on the road... full of darks and lights... but it defines you.

too fucking good sk...great to see the church taking on eastern europe in their blundstones.

Symon said...

for veleska1970..they are the quintessential oztraylian blundstone boot.....made in Tassie at the mo, but soon to be made in asia for 10c an hour. every troooo bloooo aussie (or church fanatic) should own a pair.

Love the pics, SK. The downside of postin' 'em is that the sayers of neigh find more nay to say (however unintelligible... "mach socks" "mock socks" whatevah).

They'll be there to neigh anyway, I suppose.

Blundstones, shorts AND checked shirt! Ha! u r a yobbo @ heart.

Veleska, B.Boots can last forever, comfy and versatile (the choice of farmers, workers, hikers and rockstars).. some brides even wore them under their wedding dresses! Well ok, maybe thats just some of my friends :) Sad to see its going offshore now, the co. blaming the fact its become fashionable!

SK, your humour is intact. The eastern bloc have had a long rough history. You guys went there though and gave it a shot. Thats something y'know. Fantastic work KN!

btw new art pieces are great, esp the girls (Minna's expression!), universe and 'picking angelfruit', love that one...or are you feeding apples to the serpents? :) ps forgot to tell you how much i enjoyed the pics you posted with your girls - they are lovely.

With the beard, flannel, AND Telecaster... man, it's space rock via Nashville. Love the picture.

And for those who don't know, once you start wearing Blunnies you'll be unable to like anything else quite as much. Those crazy Tasmanians know what they're doing.

oh stefon kilbavich - you are a scream! I am home late from work (it's 1am Eastern Australian time) and just read your latest blogg and viewed the pics - how spoilt we are!!! LOVING the Blunnies - hubby and I both have a pair each (yes, they can look OK with a skirt, too!).
Don't worry about Hungary and Croatia - WE know you are indeed "one of the best bands ever
in the history of rock" . Enjoy the rest of the European tour trapsing around in your blunnies!
keep the photos coming!!!!

ah now.
nothing wrong with Hungary
and Croatia.
i'm from just next door to them.
romania.
now THOSE bastards
are worrysome.
they still adore
iron maiden.
which leads me to bruce dickinson
which leads to his brother rob
which brings me to the church
(rob having opened the show which i attended last).
how's that for
some kind of free-association?

thank you
thank you
thank you
for the photos!
looking good in the flannel killa
okay and everything else
matching socks, darling
is sorta like spelling
more than one way to arrange things
wink
oh! and
nice
boots
they do your legs justice
hey day flannel reminds me
I'm going to Seattle to pick up contacts
haven't been there in quite some
time
got a space needle story:
worked at the seattle center
whilst an art school bum
key arena and hockey and the like
whatever events I could work around my classes
I did not have a car
so I'd walk to the space needle
predictably
during the brief summer months
the place would swarm with tourists
they, with their cameras
bless them for it!
especially the asians traveling south from
the maple leaf land
oriented horizontally
at the soaring vertical of the space needle
I'd tap them on the shoulder
and say, um, ya might want to
truth n facts!

luv ya all!

Who is that mysterious figure in Ray-Ban's? Thanks for the photos, keep 'em coming during the Gypsy Euro-Caravan Adventure. (now where are my finger-cymbals?)

thanks for the "boots" info, guys. :)

And Blundstone also makes these great clogs too! They aren't as cushy as the boots though, so I wear the clogs around the house and quick trips out to the store and such, and the boots when I'm be walking or on my feet more. They are perfect for every occasion. :-)

veleska -- if you're interested I can get you a link to a place that sells Blunnies at the best price I've been able to find. Shipping is kind of high, but even with that it's still less expensive than from a US store/website.
