this blogges fer yew

working working working
gettin ' sore fingers
gettin' a sore throat
(awww....!)
oh my "pitta" is outtacontrol
im on a roll
ive gone manic
im throwing out songs/ballets/architecture
ive designed a new earth and filled it with kilb-bots
ive thrown caution before swine
and pearls to the wind
i mean i got words accumulating in my shoes
i can write the blues during a black out
im rockin'
and
reelin'
im plucking the bass
and now there aint any more feathers
im drinkin' unicorns with pink bulls
i say to others
hold me down boys
up up up i go
i mean im crazy
or is it just me
one hand playing
one hand painting
one hand on the 12
second hand close
ooh ohh nice crotchet, baybee
im quavering in perspective
i got 8 types of ambiguity
and a half eaten red herring
ive singlehandedly defeated punctuation
im saving you commas n capitals by the truckload
oh be serious, time bee, you say
yer cryptick jive ennervates
baby i aint no knobtwiddler
im a master fader
i have backwards reverb with my lunch
i stand up n say
?gnineppah stahw
space?
i m not talking to it...
ive gone marine...
ive gone out
then i went
im fucking across it baybee
and im across you
bathing in your estuaries
gazing at your lagoon
im diving deep beneath the surface
i can hold my breath for weeks
idiots begone
idiots begone
idiots begone
im daddy spearfisher
you gonna wriggle n shudder
you gonna attract sharks
the rip is sucking you out
down to the bed you go
down deep where monsters lie
barbs n shaft
hook n line
wrecks n debris
slowly now slowly
spinning out of sight
warm warm warm
blue n green
you flood
i pour
over

sometimes things happen too fast to write about them or a song about them ...
some times it takes years to map out exactly what happened ...
other times we write the song as prophecy ..conjecture only to giggle when it reaches real time fruition ...
what a fun .., funny game it is , can be . was...

love .. love .. love
its all i ever needed

As you once said 'Behind the veil, is a sea, yeah.' Too true, too very true. And thankyou for mentioning us and incorporating us into the wordscape as I feel propelled along with you as I read these words. Like you want us to be there....
Amazing skill and thankyou for the journey. Till next time.

caught up with yr blog,

'i got 8 types of ambiguity
and a half eaten red herring...'

perfection, one day that's going be studied by Zen Monks.

I would've said you were at your zenith
a couple of weeks ago, but you are the wine
and you're only getting finer.
Aged and wise
wicked and delightful.

Often playing with opposites
and how they attract
You Mr. Kilbey
embody free thought
and it's lyrical verse

[yeahs emmenating from the crowd. snapping fingers too. yeah why not.]

And today's choice would be:

"..8 types of ambiguity
and a half-eaten red herring.."

Dressing on the side, please.

Nice one, Mr. K.

Hot doggity damn, it's year next week you've kept this up and i for one have enjoyed the in-sites, far-outs, feel-lings and muse and mutt-erings. Made me buy a few albums i didn't have to boot. AENT a surprise, especially waiting for you to hit the key bass note in night friends in the " watching you've been watching, reaching you've been reaching " parts. Not the obvious as usual.
It's great that you still A-muse, B-muse, c-through, D-side,E-mit,F-etc.
God bless ya

A desert lies at the world's extreme, between lands that are little known and those that are scarcely conjectured.
Its bare and ever-moving sands are without oases and a strange horror is rumoured to dwell among them.
Some say that this thing has neither visible form nor audible voice.
Others that it is a dire chimera with multitudinous heads and horns and tails,
and a song whose sound is like the tolling of bells in deep funereal vaults.
There are many tales,
of a thing that follows furtively or with the pandemonium of a thousand devils,
of a thing that roars or whispers balefully from the sand,
or from the wind,
or stirs unseen in the coiling silence.

Clark Ashton Smith
said that (and more)
in 1929 !

architecture too?
form follows function . . .
evolution knew where it was going
before we had names & traditions
to lead us ever sideways into the valley of complications
it placed the ground in a perfect conflict
the hearts desire to prevail v’s the intellects preview of an inexorable end
what happens when the irresistible force meets the immovable object?
it should have been god
but we took a detoured and got religion

Love love love the sea...especially here in Syd-eney.
Had a late afternoon dip at Bronte today, but hey, what's with the beach bouncers at Manly?? You go an inch outside the flags and they're blasting you with whistles and making menacing cattle-herding motions!! The opposite of relaxing...
