I guess im the early bird for a change.
You know Nevets, that sharp eff counterpointed against the a minorbird chord was always my favourite part of that song... very subtle but very effective. And fun to play.
Have a lovely time in Millburn druid.
Good morning Steve...
Wishing you an inspired day :)

morning Steve. Did you remeber to turn your clock back? You sure are an early riser.
Colloiquialism at it's best.

Wish the Church were on the Arias tonite should be getting award for album of the year and best group, but they have won in the bloggers voting awards, so that's more important.
You definitely have a lot of gigs coming up, the Winery ones will be good, maybe a drop or two of red?
definitely medicinal purposes.
Never been to the Sando but d & i will try to get there. Really looking forward to the State Theatre, Church plus the Pretenders, that will be huge.
Love the Sometime Anywhere cd, better to catch up late than never.
See ya,

D-cyphering kilbish has long been an ambiguous act.
Izzit love? That makes us wrocke.
I'm staying tuned to find out
Would that be the sharp eff found on Tristesse, Day 5 and Tear it All Away? And Comedown? And some others?
Church couldn't find a second SK.
Love you more,
Dave M
Shriek! Quelle horreur!
We see no dates for SK/WP in Melbourne???
Was it something we said?
Was it something we didn't say?
Was it something we were?
Was it.... somethink?
Please SK....
Please?????
BTW my poem Wave to Wave for Paul Hewson from Dragon got selected (first in!)for that Meanjin by guest editor Mark Mordue and poetry ed Judith Beveridge and ripped out at the last minute after proofreading and all, along with several other great pieces, including one by Dave Grainey, to make way for some non-rock'n'roll short stories. Mark Mordue is spitting chips. He wasn't even told, just presented with the gutted fait accompli of what he'd told the writers he'd selected was happening as a printed mag. There's some talk of a book with the lot in, or putting it on the Meanjin website, but I'll believe it when I see it. Yeah, sure looks like a great issue, otherwise. Congrats for making the final cut SK. So much for the cutthroat world of rock'n'roll - literature wields a bigger knife sometimes. And poetry is at the bottom of the food chain again.
My vote for when you do this is to say all the words have been SKewed.

Ah, but - there will never be another quite like you. Happy Vegan Day in Melbourne; what's on the menu? Headed out for Indian delights meself a bit later, after a hike by the river here in glorious Autumnal splendor and color. Hope the Virgin Blue aeroplane did not bounce in the wind as you once described.
I need the secret decoder ring for this one.

I believe I'm slowly becoming a vegan...and I ain't kidding. Red meat has turned me stomach for a long time now, chicken is starting to have the same effect, so I've moved on to fish - I haven't consumed dairy for about 10 years...should I make the jump, Steve? Veegan day on planet Veega sounds invitin'
