Last night, tossing and turning, courting the veil of sleep that wouldn't come, I realized that I've been listening to The Church for just over half my life, from 16 or 17, and I'm now 34.
This music has been the soundtrack to so many experiences, good and bad, transformative and tragic.
Starfish was there during all the times I lay on my bed gazing out the window, dreaming of doing great things.
Starfish and GAF were also there as I wandered through Central America (I had only a tape player, and I had these on tapes), during that transformative time, that turning point where nothing was ever the same again.
Sometime Anywhere was with me at the dissolution of a long relationship, and "Authority" summed it up so well.
Dabble came out while I was living in Japan, working by day and writing all night. I also got acquainted with all the solo and side projects at that time of relative financial abundance.
After Everything Now This came out as I hoisted my pack for Mongolia. Those verses and those wandering notes will forever be associated with the wide open skies of Ghengis Khan country.
Forget Yourself came as I struggled to make a go of writing, enduring soul sucking temp contracts, often at cubicle hell government offices where no one took the trouble to remember my name, where genius and individuality were stifled. That album on my headphones helped keep me sane, and helped me to keep tending the fires of revolt.
Uninvited ushered in a new era, an era of burgeoning success in my two chosen fields of endeavour.
All these things and more, much more.

There is definitely some sychronicity happening here!
I participated (anonymously!) in this free forum last year!!
And....it's all about helping to align and integrate in a practical way.(In line with what seems to me to be the true spirit and purpose of The Time Being!)
The program took 6 weeks to complete.... 1 opportunity every few days. Any faster than that, and the potency is compromised.
This isn't about you, me or GZ.
Methinks this may be about...the time being here, doing this... and then showing us all how it's done!!
Or maybe it's just a big co-incidence!!!
Only the time being will tell!
