us folk from melbourne know how to be bohemian and earn lots o cash...how's that for challenge? in the morning...i'm a slob that gets my kids off to school...during the day i don the war-paint and suit for the office...earn heaps of dosh...listen to Bob Dylan, Tom Waits or the Church while driving the Saab to work...come home with the roof down...blaring "life speeds up"....grab hold of my kids and squeeze the life out of them...read some books (Dr Seuss and Satre)...have a good shag with my main man.....aaahhhh what else would a girl want? (except a seat on the tram when required to use public transport).

Bittersweet to read about all the shows in Australia. Would love to be there, sad to miss them. PLEASE come to Europe in May. Some say you will, and others say you won't. I've been all over the place lately - USA, Jamaica, germany, and now back in Hungary, but one constant is checking your blog in the morning. As always, thanks for sharing, and continually inspiring. That was great captain mish! It WAS orgasmic down in The Basement last nite SK. The songs from 'Uninvited,like the clouds' lifted a few notches higher and blew that reading off the dial. BLOCK in soundcheck was so damn good and who needs electric, they rocked with Constant in Opal, a sonic visual frenzy.
A friend was disappointed there were no paintings there but you signed his EARTHED book (thank you). I had to sit up listening to SOMEONE ELSE raving about the gig till the wee hours! And it wasnt even me! You always have me dumbstruck but yeah you did look pretty :)... but forget West Side Story, Im still waiting for you to do Isnt It A Pity.

It's 12.40 am and I have just got back from the best Church gig I have been to in a long time! If you weren't there you missed out! The show was great, the venue was great, even the crowd was pretty good. Tin Mine is excellent. What a deal!
I do hope you guys are coming to dear old Blighty later in the year - All the comments above are making me kind of jealous.

what i find really depressing is the lack of imagination behind them, one has the whole array of the english language to choose from and we have to tolerate such uncreative insults, mediocrity sucks, i wonder why such folk even bother getting outta bed.
