pictures of the gone world

whats going on?
somehow
on the tip of my mind
i can see that there is
one theory that will tie everything together
look at nature
listen to beautiful music
observe the forms
see the similarities in language and dance
water
see its changing shapes
its layers of light
the ripples like cascading guitars
its tide like the bass
underwater, hear the rocks and bed
rocking down there
like percussion

i cant stay long today
i have a million things to do
i love you
i miss you
behave yourselves
sk

Observa las formas
Ve las similaridades entre el lenguaje y el baile.

Tambien tengo un millon de que hacer.

It's all mixed up.

I've just been for my bi-yearly medical that's a compulsory chore that comes with my job, but at least I'll know I'm 100%.... Or was I ?

Nurse: "Morning, come into the room thanks! Do we do a drug test with this medical? I'm not sure"

Me: "NO! we definately don't
Sister(s! Only when promoting to another safety critical role, or when I make an unexplainable mistake mistake in my job.

"Pee in this saucer for a sugar analysis" - Fine - Borocca yellow.

Read out these letters on this chart (which were smaller than crabs on your nuts.. not that I'd know that) Mostly right in yer left eye, perfect in your right.

Hearing - Hmmm, your such n such range is poor,(quietest sounds) Well I did have two fucking jumbo jets fly over med center during testing of weakest tweaks!!! What do you expect

Blood Pressure - 140 over 90, "Hmmm that's a bit high Mr. Might have to go see your GP about that"

ESG (heart test) and wired up to this Vox AC heart analyser machine with 2 x Celestion 12's, like I'm fucking Peter Koppes' stage gat FX pedels or sumin.

I walk away feeling somwot Rent-a Dent, down to my dealer's, and looking forward to sitting on a rock and looking forward to..but will I be able to :

See Layers of Light
Hear Ripples and rocks and bed of bass

Ever live to see the day I open the gig guide and see :

One more day I may forget my reason, you are the name of every man that I meet. There is no reason to struggle.
Nothing on earth you should fear, this ice will all melt down and we'll be washed away.Funny how it seems important here and now - 'cause your wife doesn't understand
a carnation in your buttonhole...I never understand why you put up your hand. You shouldn't have to feel so frightened. Oh Mr Silver please come in!

Youth Worshipper,
Feelin Fat & Ugly today - don't know why - must be the weather.
At the ripe old age of 44 I normally look at myself in the mirror & think I look better with my clothes off than on ...
Delusional they call it.
Anyhow I think SK's honesty works better than mine.

Steve, if you haven't been there already, I refer you to Kerouac's book, BIG SUR, and his admirable attempt to record the sound of the sea in words...regards.

back dating re blog - some years ago I worked on a Cattle Station in the middle of somewhere - beautiful landscape - red - time stopped - very rough - early 80s - the station owners cassette collection - Country and Western - bad, very bad C&W - and one Neil Diamond cassette tape and 4hours drive to the nearest shoppe - no radio - plenty of time for thinking ....

What a pleasant thing to say Duane, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Well Steve, if you must know....I'm not as polite about not being able to say as much as I'd like. Right now, I've got a deadline of midnight...on V.Day. I wish I had a few more clip on lights, a miners light so I could be hands free for those important details. More light period! and the color of light that your referring to 'refraction'. It's beautiful, absolutely...in theory and experience.

SK,
would you ever use this blogge to enlighten us about some of the inspirations for your lyrics? i know it may seem crass to ask for you to pull away the curtain revealing the little old wizard, but your words are often so specific I just can't help wonderin...what brought this on was listening to "other time" last night from Unearthed. I was so pleased to get the remastered version recently, especially your liner notes...as clever as this blogge. thanks.

Yeah, sk. Now that the controversy has died down, the excitement is over, she's but a distant memory offering occasional flashbacks on weekend news updates and we've all forgotten about her indiscretions with diesel, could you please tell me if You're still beautiful is about Jennifer Keyte? C'mon, man, PLEASE. The fricking suspense has been killing me, eating away at me for well over a decade.

Please keep feeding us the blogge, Steve. Us Kilblings need to suckle from the blogge every day. With the passage of each 24 hours I look up from the teat of the blogge with bleary, glossy eyes waiting for the next text. 400 teats from which we feed, our mouths grotesquely attached to the blogge like lampreys and our collective heartbeat slowing until the next passage is delivered.

Dear Anon..

I’d love to, but I live a little too far away – in the Antipodean (to you) Olde South (West) Wales.

I would have thought you'd have outgrown Nappies though ;)

I can't say I hate U2 - I'm just totally indifferent to their emerald charms.
